CORWITH - Hancock County farmer Mervin Krauss from Corwith directed a $2,500 donation to the Corwith Community Club as part of the America’s Farmers Grow Communitiesprogram, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund.

As part of their mission, the Corwith Community Club will use the funds for making improvements to the Community Center.

Ryan Wagner, vice-president of the Corwith Community Club, said, “We would like to thank Mervin for selecting us to receive this donation. We are working on several projects at the Community Center, including insulation, trophy cases, and a school portrait display. We will use the $2,500 to help fund these projects.”

Since the program began in 2010, the Grow Communities program has partnered with farmers to support nonprofit organizations important to them in their local communities.
