Eagles baseball fights till the end in district loss

            The West Hancock baseball team appeared done from the first couple of innings on Saturday.

            The Eagles traveled to Sheffield to face off against Central Springs in the Class 1A Districts first round.

            The team would score three-runs to start off the day.

            Central Springs shot back with six runs of their own and continued to score five unanswered runs throughout the rest of the game.

            And while the game may have been out of hand, the Eagles continued to fight for their season.

            Defensively the Eagles held them to only two runs or less in the following innings.
