The West Hancock baseball team went 2-1 this week, playing three straight days.

The team was supposed to play rival Garner-Hayfield-Ventura on June 17, but weather caused a delay.

On Wednesday the Eagles traveled to Forest City, losing 1-6.

Thursday snapped a five-game losing streak for West Hancock who defeated West Bend-Mallard 12-2.

The Eagles kept it going the next day, beating Belmond-Klemme 11-6.

The team struggled to find hits at the right time on Wednesday, despite recording seven hits.

It was no issue in the next two games, as the Eagles found home plate several times to start the games.
