Tournament time has arrived for the GHV girls’ golf team and the Cardinals are off to a good start after winning last week’s TIC crown. The Cards extended their conference championship streak to five in a row after topping the rest of the league last Monday at Britt. GHV improved their record to 26 – 0 with the tournament win and are hoping to continue their winning ways in Class 3A action this week.

The Cardinals played well at the Britt Country Club, finishing the day with an 18-hole total of 382. Bishop Garrigan was a distant second at 412 while Forest City was third at 434. Completing the field were West Hancock (445), Lake Mills (448), Eagle Grove (456), Belmond-Klemme (506) and North Union (546).
