GHV Softball looks to improve plate appearances

            Garner-Hayfield-Ventura scored zero in its last three home games.

            On May 25, the team took a hit from Newman Catholic losing 11-0.

            Wednesday the team welcomed Forest City and lost by a margin of 12.

            Thursday was the Cardinals closest game in the stretch, falling 5-0 to Humboldt.

            The game against the Knights, the Cardinals didn’t have a single runner on base after the first innings.

            The Cards didn’t have a single hit while Newman racked up 15 total on the day against Kylie Hughes and Maddie Graham.

            GHV had a different but similar issue against Forest City, where the team left seven runners on base throughout the game.
