Klemme’s Ag Day is Saturday

KLEMME – For family fun, head to Klemme for Ag Day, on Saturday, June 16.

A vendor fair at the community room at city hall will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Most activities will take place at the city park. There will be inflatables for the kids, a coin search, and bingo.

Try your skills at horseshoes. A horseshoe tournament will begin at 10 a.m.

Sign up for Garden Tractor and lawn mower games at 1 p.m.

Coin search will be at 2 p.m. The kids pedal pull competition begins at 2:30 p.m.

The Klemme museum will be open from 1-3 p.m.

Free watermelon will be served courtesy of Tiny’s Plumbing and Heating.

The Hanson family from Kanawha will dazzle the Ag Day audience with their unicycle and juggling skills. The performance begins at 3 p.m.

Ag Day Parade

The Ag Days Parade will begin at 5 p.m. Show your pride in your community! Families, businesses, clubs, churches and organizations are encouraged to be a part of the 2018 Ag Day Parade. Parade line-up at is at the MaxYield elevator.

Following the parade, Klemme firemen will host their annual supper at the fire station.

The evening entertainment continues with performances by the Hanson family and the Kraft Brothers. The Hanson family of Kanawha is well-known in the area for their unicycle and juggling skills.

The Kraft Brothers, Jimmy Kraft and Kevin “Bubba” Kraft, are also natives of Kanawha.

“Weplay a country show, from current music, to Johnny Cash, and points in between,” says Jimmy.  “We also try to play some '80's ballad type rock, just for fun.”

The evening will end with beer garden and street dance at 9 p.m., hosted by the fire department and Jay Brooks.
