The bats were hot to start the week.

The West Hancock softball team only secured one victory in five games, however.

On May 28, the Eagles faced off against Lake Mills in Britt.

The Bulldogs escaped a barn burner, 14-12.

The teams went into the eighth inning, where Lake Mills outscored West Hancock 5-3.

            The team recorded 12 hits.

Madison Eisenman led the team with three, batting in two runs and recording a double in the process.

Grace Rosin recorded two hits and had four RBIs.

Shelby Goepel, filling in as pinch runner, had three stolen bases.
